The Greens reject the BVG reform. At the delegates' meeting in Basel on Saturday, they clearly voted against. They also adopted a resolution for more biodiversity in the 2030+ agricultural policy.

The occupational pension reform, which will be put to the vote on September 22, means that many women will have less money in their wallets at the end of the month. Despite this, they will not receive a higher pension in old age. The Greens write this in a press release. Women's pensions are still a third lower than those of men.

The party had already voted in favor of the biodiversity initiative, which will also be put to the vote at the end of September, in April. It also decided on Saturday to abstain from voting in the referendum on November 24 on the uniform financing of outpatient and inpatient services. The Greens have decided to vote against the expansion of freeways and the double referendum against amendments to the Swiss Code of Obligations.

The delegates also adopted a resolution for more biodiversity in the 2030+ agricultural policy. This is aimed at a holistic food policy that values the work of farmers. The commitment of farming families to biodiversity must be better recognized and compensated, the Greens demand.
