Skateboarder falls under car in the Aargau Jura and dies

A skateboarder was fatally injured after being run over by a car in the Jura region of Aargau on Monday afternoon. The 25-year-old woman from Aargau was traveling from Saalhöhe in the direction of Erlinsbach AG.
As a media spokeswoman for the Aargau cantonal police said on request, the young woman slid under the car on a bend. Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful. The police spokeswoman confirmed media reports. A skateboarder who was riding in front of the woman was uninjured.
The Aargau cantonal police have launched an investigation. Saalhöhe is located on the border between the cantons of Solothurn and Aargau above Erlinsbach.
