84-year-old woman recovered dead from Lake Constance in Egnach TG

Police recovered an 84-year-old woman dead from Lake Constance at the Wiedehorn lido in Egnach TG on Sunday morning. The cause of death is still unclear, according to a statement from the Thurgau cantonal police.
The woman was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in St. Gallen to clarify the cause of death. Shortly before 10 a.m., the emergency call center received a report that a person was floating in the water near the shore, the police reported on Monday. When the emergency services arrived, they were only able to determine that the woman was dead.
