Ten-year-old dies in accident with bus in the canton of Vaud

A ten-year-old boy was run over by a postal bus in Forel VD on Tuesday evening. Despite first aid, the victim died of his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
Initial findings indicate that the driver of a bus turned left in order to make a U-turn in a designated area, as the Vaud cantonal police reported on Wednesday. During this maneuver, the driver hit the boy, who was standing in this space.
The exact circumstances of the accident initially remained unclear. The public prosecutor's office launched an investigation to determine these.
