Executor of Léon Huber’s will denies guilt in Zurich

The executor of the will of "Mister Tagesschau" Léon Huber has denied any guilt at the Zurich High Court. The 70-year-old stated that he had correctly distributed the money among Huber's heiresses.
Because Huber's daughter had already received benefits in the past, there had been no preferential treatment of the wife, said the previously blameless lawyer at the Zurich High Court on Wednesday. The money that had gone to the daughter came from the grandmother's estate.
The wife received most of the money from Huber's inheritance. According to the indictment, the daughter was deprived of around 149,000 francs. Actually, both would have been entitled to 50 percent each.
The accused also paid himself over CHF 197,000 from the estate as a fee. He later paid the money back to the heiresses, but missed a deadline.
The trial will continue with the defense attorney's plea.
