Investigation after the accidental death of a member of the army in Bazenheid SG

The military justice investigation into the fatal accident involving a member of the armed forces at Bazenheid railroad station at the end of November is still ongoing. Among other things, witnesses are being sought.
A Swiss Army lieutenant was hit by a train at Bazenheid station at 4.45 a.m. on November 30. He suffered fatal injuries, the army announced on Wednesday.
There are still unanswered questions about what happened. To clarify the events, the examining magistrate of the military justice system has begun an investigation, it is reported.
