Pro Switzerland accuses Federal Council of concealing key issues

The Pro Switzerland movement accuses the Federal Council of concealing the key points when presenting the outcome of the negotiations with the EU. Brussels is dictating, Federal Bern is capitulating and the Swiss people should remain silent and pay.
The Federal Council's behaviour is not worthy of Swiss democracy, Pro Switzerland criticized in a press release on Friday. For example, the dynamic adoption of law means the automatic adoption of EU law. There is monitoring, decision-making power and punishment by the EU Court of Justice. In addition, compulsory payments totaling over three billion Swiss francs would have to be made to the EU for the next twelve years from as early as 2025.
The timid and secretive approach of the Federal Council majority shows little trust in the Swiss people. The Federal Council is once again showing that, firstly, it is afraid of its own citizens and, secondly, that it is pursuing a policy behind closed doors in the best EU style.
By tightening up the package solution, an attempt is being made to effectively disempower the cantons and to demoralize, divide and manipulate voters. Instead of subjecting the entire package to a mandatory referendum, signatures would have to be collected for several optional referendums.
