Swiss villages Ruswil and Kuttigen have become the latest scenes of ATM explosions.

On Monday night, shortly before 2:30 a.m. on March 25, 2024, unknown persons blew up an ATM in Ruswil LU.

The perpetrators then fled in an unknown direction. Probst confirmed a report from Pilatus Today.

These attacks, carried out with brazen disregard for human life and property, have sparked a major police operation under the guidance of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office.

Cantonal police are intensifying their efforts to gather evidence and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the apprehension of those responsible.

There are also apartments in the building where the ATM was located. Ten people were evacuated, said Probst. No one was injured.

The police did not give any details about the loot, citing the ongoing investigation.
