The public prosecutor’s office in Ticino is extending the criminal investigation following a traffic accident involving cantonal councillor Norman Gobbi. Specifically, the criminal investigation against a police officer and a group leader of the Ticino cantonal police has been extended.
Government councillor Norman Gobbi had already been heard as a person providing information and no criminal evidence had been found against him, the Ticino public prosecutor’s office announced on Thursday.
The criminal investigation focuses on a traffic accident that occurred on November 14, 2023 near Stalvedro and in which government councillor Norman Gobbi was involved.
