The Swiss Paraplegic Foundation has initiated a dispute procedure against the new logo of the Post. The Foundation complained of a risk of confusion with its own logo. Both the logo of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation (SPS) and the new logo of the Post can be described as a cross on the left and a large P on the right. However, there are differences in colour and style. The SPS logo is blue on a white background, while the Post logo has a red cross, a black letter P and a yellow background. The Foundation believes that there is a very high risk of confusion, especially in black and white applications, and is therefore taking legal action against the new Post logo. The Post responded that it was aware of a certain similarity to the SPS logo, but that there was no risk of confusion because the two companies were in different areas. The individual letter "P" and a stylized Swiss cross are open to all companies and cannot be monopolized by the SPS. They are also designed differently. The Post has been using a black "P" and a red cross on a yellow background for years and has had no problems with the SPS. The Post wants to find out in a conversation what the SPS is really concerned about. No financial demands are known so far. The decision of the dispute procedure is the responsibility of the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE). The decision could still be challenged.nnnnnnnnnn
