On Thursday, the roof of the ice rink in the Swiss village of Biasca caught fire. As a precaution, the local middle school and vocational training center were evacuated. The cause of the fire was initially unclear. The fire broke out at noon, according to the cantonal police of Ticino. As a result, part of the roof was on fire, on which solar collectors were installed. The fire caused a lot of smoke. From noon, the authorities asked the population via the Alertswiss warning app to keep doors and windows closed and to switch off ventilation and air conditioning systems in the vicinity of the fire. Shortly before 4 pm, the responsible authorities gave the all-clear. There was no longer any danger to the population, according to Alertswiss. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, a firefighter was taken to the hospital for a check-up due to feeling unwell.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
