72-Year-Old Dies While Hiking in Langenbruck BL

A 72-year-old man reported missing was found dead while hiking in Langenbruck BL. Rescue workers discovered his lifeless body on Wednesday below a cliff. On Tuesday afternoon, the 72-year-old man had been hiking with a group in the Oberbelchen area, according to the Baselbieter Police. For unknown reasons, the man separated from the group shortly after 4 pm. The police initiated a search operation after a missing person report. The deceased man was found Wednesday morning by a drone from the Alpine Rescue Switzerland.
