The Swiss National Council elections in the Canton of Vaud in 2023 saw a shift in the political landscape. The Social Democratic Party (SP) gained one seat, the Swiss People's Party (SVP) gained one seat, and the Centre Party (Mitte) gained one seat. The Free Democratic Party (FDP), the Green Party (Grünen) and the Green Liberal Party (GLP) each lost one seat.
Overall, the total number of seats in the Canton of Vaud remained at 19. All parties that achieved a voter share of at least three percent were taken into account.
The SP, SVP and Mitte all made gains, while the FDP, Grünen and GLP all lost seats. This shift in the political landscape reflects the changing attitudes of the Canton of Vaud's electorate. The SP, SVP and Mitte all benefited from the increased support of the electorate, while the FDP, Grünen and GLP all suffered from a decrease in support.
