In the canton of Bern, the Swiss People's Party (SVP) and the Social Democratic Party (SP) each gained one seat in the National Council, while the Green Party and the Free Democratic Party (FDP) each lost one seat. The other parties maintained their existing seats. A total of 24 seats were available in the canton of Bern, which were distributed as follows: SVP 8 (+1), SP 5 (+1), GLP 3, Green 3 (-1), Centre 2, FDP 1 (-1), EDU 1, EVP 1.
The election results in the canton of Bern saw the SVP and SP gain one seat each in the National Council, while the Green Party and FDP lost one seat each. The other parties maintained their existing seats.
