Solothurn: Roth (SP) ahead of Imark (SVP)

In the battle for the second seat in the Council of States in Solothurn, SP National Councillor Franziska Roth is just ahead of SVP National Councillor Christian Imark according to the interim results. 71 of 107 municipalities have been counted.
The SP wants to defend its current seat. For the SVP, it would be the first time that it could win a seat in the Council of States in Solothurn. The previous member of the Council of States, Pirmin Bischof (center), was clearly confirmed in office at the first attempt.
