36-year-old driver dies in an accident in Einsiedeln SZ

A 36-year-old driver was killed in an accident in Einsiedeln SZ on Saturday morning. He collided with a wall.
The driver lost control of his car shortly after 8 a.m. for initially unknown reasons, according to the Schwyz cantonal police. He drove off the road and collided with the wall of an overpass viaduct. As a result, the vehicle came to a standstill lying on its roof on the opposite carriageway. The driver died at the scene of the accident.
The bypass was closed for around six hours for the investigation and recovery work, which led to major traffic delays in the Einsiedeln area.
