Injured in an altercation at the carnival opening in Naters

Three people were slightly injured in an altercation with a stabbing weapon during the opening of the carnival in Naters VS on Friday evening shortly before midnight. Three suspected perpetrators were arrested.
The incident took place during the "Dragon Outbreak", the opening of the carnival, as the Valais cantonal police announced on Saturday. The victims are two foreign nationals and a Swiss national aged between 16 and 17. They received medical treatment and were able to leave the hospital after outpatient treatment, the police added.
The three perpetrators were arrested and detained by the cantonal police in collaboration with the Brig municipal police and the Naters municipal police. They are two minors, aged 16 and 17, who come from Egypt and Italy and are resident in Italy - and their accomplice, aged 20, who comes from Italy and is resident in Upper Valais.
