The 48th Prix Walo will be shown on television for the first time in 22 years. Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) has teamed up with the private broadcasters Star TV and Blick TV for this purpose, as announced by those responsible.
SRF presenter Nicole Berchtold and SRF presenter Salar Bahrampoori as well as organizer Monika Kaelin will host the evening on 4 May, according to a press release from the Show Szene Schweiz association.
The trophy, created by Rolf Knie, will be awarded in the presence of all Swiss show celebrities. Swiss celebrities can also be found on the list of nominees. Singer Anna Rossinelli from Basel, for example, is on the list, as is comedian Claudio Zuccolini. Film, theater and television productions are also honored at the gala. Who will receive the honorary Prix Walo is still a secret.
