Swiss Airlines announces a significant leadership change as CEO Dieter Vranckx prepares for a new role within the Lufthansa Group. After steering Swiss for over three years, Vranckx will join Lufthansa’s Executive Board as the “Chief Commercial Officer” starting July 1, 2024.

Vranckx’s new responsibilities at Lufthansa include heading the “Global Markets and Commercial Management Hubs,” underscoring the importance of customer experience and brand management in today’s competitive airline industry.
