Earthquake service reports quake with a magnitude of 3.4 near Saignelégier JU

The earth shook near Saignelégier JU on Tuesday night with a magnitude of around 3.4 on the Richter scale. According to the Swiss Seismological Service of ETH Zurich (SED), this earthquake is likely to have been clearly felt near the epicenter.
The quake occurred at 02:21 approximately 14 kilometers northwest of Saignelégier, writes the SED in an automated message. Damage is not normally expected in the event of an earthquake of this magnitude.
