Fenaco IT to be fully merged with IT company Bison

The agricultural group Fenaco, which is supported by agricultural cooperatives, wants to merge the IT company Bison completely with its own IT service company.
As of January 1, 2025, Bison Schweiz AG and Fenaco Informatik will be merged under one roof, as Fenaco announced on Thursday. This step is intended to eliminate organizational interfaces and fully exploit synergy potential.
Fenaco Informatik, the internal IT service provider of the Fenaco-Landi Group, acquired Bison in 2014. The data centers of both companies were then merged in 2016 and the HR and Finance divisions in 2018.
Bison employs around 350 people, almost twice as many as Fenaco Informatik with around 180.
