Segunda víctima mortal tras un accidente de moto en St-Cergue VD

Following a head-on collision between two motorcyclists on Saturday, the second person involved in the accident has also died, the Vaud cantonal police announced on Wednesday. The first motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident and the second succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
According to the police, the head-on collision occurred during an overtaking maneuver. The road between Trélex VD and St-Cergue was closed in both directions for several hours due to the accident.
The public prosecutor's office has opened a criminal investigation. The traffic unit of the Vaud police has been tasked with investigating the exact causes of the accident.
