Biel’s Stapi Fehr is annoyed with President Müller

The Mayor of Biel/Bienne, Erich Fehr (SP), reacted angrily on Monday afternoon to a comment made by the President of the Bernese Government, Philippe Müller (FDP), on the X online portal. Müller does not want the ESC to be held in Bern next year following Nemo's victory in Biel.
"I am ashamed to be Bernese. I am ashamed of this president of the government," said Fehr in an interview with the Biel portal Ajour and the radio station Canal 3.
Müller can think what he wants about the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) and a possible staging in Bern, Fehr continued. But he expects the President of the Government Müller to congratulate Nemo first.
On Monday morning, Müller described the ESC on the X portal as "thoroughly corrupt for years" and wrote "ESC: Stay away from Bern!", but did not offer any congratulations.
