Seriously injured in several fights in Martigny VS

Three brawls in and outside a discotheque in Martigny VS kept the Valais cantonal police on their toes early Saturday morning. In one of the fights, a minor was seriously injured by five attackers. In another altercation, a man was stabbed.
The underage foreigner's life is not in danger, as the cantonal police announced on Saturday evening. The two injured people were taken to hospital by ambulance. According to them, the police intervened at the scene several times throughout the night.
Shortly after 4 a.m., the municipal and cantonal police were confronted with two fights between more than a dozen opponents. Shortly afterwards, the minor was attacked. A third brawl resulted in two minor injuries who did not require hospital treatment.
During the altercation, a paving stone damaged a stationary police car. Whether the three brawls were connected was the subject of an investigation on Saturday by the public prosecutor's office and the youth court.
