The organization of the Geneva watch fair "Watches and Wonders" is growing. The brands Chanel and Hermès as well as the French luxury goods group LVMH (Hublot, Zenith, Tag Heuer) will now be part of the "Watches and Wonders Foundation Board", which was founded in 2022, as was announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The new board members had already presented their timepieces to trade visitors and the public at the last edition of the fair in April, alongside those of the Richemont houses IWC, Piaget and Jaeger LeCoultre, as well as brands such as Rolex and Patek Philippe. Now they will be more closely involved in the organization.

The integration of the new members is an important step in the Foundation's efforts to represent the Swiss watch industry in its entirety and with as many participants as possible, according to the trade fair organizer.

New President from July

There will also be a change at the top of the "Watches and Wonders Foundation Board". As previously announced, Cartier boss Cyrille Vigneron will take over the presidency from Rolex CEO Jean-Frédéric Dufour for the next two years at the beginning of July. Together with Vice-President Claude Peny, Vigneron will set the course of the trade fair for the future.

The next "Watches and Wonders" trade fair will take place in Geneva's Palexpo halls from April 1 to 7, 2025. At the last edition, 54 brands presented their watches and innovations to a total of around 49,000 visitors.
