Man dies after accident with forklift truck in Steffisburg BE

A 75-year-old pedestrian died on Tuesday in Steffisburg BE. A forklift truck driver hit him at the waste disposal yard, as reported by the Bern cantonal police on Wednesday.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear. The Swiss national, who lives in the canton of Bern, died of his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The cantonal police issued an appeal for witnesses.
