Rail traffic between Romont and Fribourg was interrupted on Wednesday afternoon due to a damaged overhead line. An agricultural vehicle had damaged the overhead line at a level crossing in Villaz-St-Pierre, as reported by SBB.
The regional trains between Chénens and Romont were replaced by buses. Customers wishing to travel from Bern/Zurich to French-speaking Switzerland had to use the Jura-Südfuss line, as an SBB spokesperson told the Keystone-SDA news agency.
