Wolf shot down in the canton of Neuchâtel

Neuchâtel gamekeepers have shot down a wolf in Val-de-Travers. The animal was most likely responsible for the attack on two cattle, as the canton of Neuchâtel announced on Monday.
The order to shoot the wolf was issued on Saturday after it killed a cow weighing around 150 kilograms during the night. About ten days earlier, there had already been an attack nearby in which the same wolf had killed another cow weighing around 250 kilograms.
