The number of jobs advertised by Swiss banks fell for the fourth time in a row in November. This is shown by an evaluation of the job portal Indeed, which regularly counts and analyzes the job advertisements of the ten largest banks for the news agency AWP.
In November, a total of 610 job advertisements could be found on the websites of these banks, not including apprenticeships and internships. Compared to October, this represents a decrease of just under 2 percent.
This means that the number of jobs on offer has not fallen as rapidly as in the previous three months, in which the number of advertised jobs fell by around a quarter, according to the figures collected by Indeed. Only jobs with a place of work in Switzerland are included in the analysis.
However, the number of vacancies did not fall at all banks in November: at Raiffeisen and UBS, the banks with the largest number of vacancies, the number of job advertisements rose by just under 7 percent and just under 4 percent respectively.
