Sustenpass Road Reopened After Rockfall

The Sustenpassstrasse, which connects Wassen UR with Innertkirchen BE, has been reopened after being closed due to a rockfall on Saturday night. The rockfall occurred at the Sustenbrüggli, about two kilometres below the pass summit. Although only a few stones fell onto the road, fog and snow prevented the clean-up of the debris. On Tuesday morning, the loose rocks were removed and the site was secured, allowing the road to be reopened at 11am.nnnnnn
