A 37-year-old man has been found dead after an inflatable boat accident near Rheinau ZH. The German man had been missing since the accident last week.
A lifeless person was found in the Rhine near Rheinau on Sunday, as reported by the Zurich cantonal police on Monday. It was the 37-year-old man who had been washed over the weir together with a 28-year-old woman at around 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old woman was rescued by a passer-by. Despite several Rega flights and an operation that lasted until midnight, the emergency services were unable to find the 37-year-old.
