50-year-old dies as a result of an accident while gardening

A 50-year-old Italian man has died as a result of a tree-cutting accident in the Lugano region. According to information from the Ticino cantonal police, the man suffered serious injuries in a fall ten days ago.
According to the report, the accident occurred on Monday last week in the garden of a residential building on Via Belvedere in the municipality of Bioggio near Lugano.
As the cantonal police wrote in a press release, the man from the province of Como was pruning trees when he fell from a height of around two meters near the house. The police suspect that the fall was caused by feeling unwell.
