500 farm animals die in farmhouse fire in Bottens VD

More than 500 farm animals, mainly cattle, have died in a fire on a farm in Bottens VD. A person who had been on the farm is still being sought.
The fire department was still in action this morning trying to bring the fire under control, as the Vaud cantonal police reported on Thursday. The cause of the fire, which broke out at around 01:30, was initially unknown.
