73-year-old man trapped by shooting target and fatally injured

On Saturday evening, a 73-year-old man was trapped and fatally injured by a target while lowering the targets at the Röschenz BL shooting range. His injuries were so severe that he died at the scene.
The Basel-Landschaft cantonal police announced on Sunday that there was no third party involved. It was not clear why the window pane trapped the man. The cantonal police and public prosecutor's office launched an investigation.
