98,500 Attendees at the Anniversary Edition of the Bern Gurten Festival

The 40th edition of the Berner Gurtenfestival was a success, with 98,500 tickets sold over the five days of the festival. 63,000 different people attended the event, with only Wednesday and Thursday not being completely sold out. This was a new record for the festival, surpassing the 80,000 tickets sold in 2017 over four days. The atmosphere was peaceful and the weather mostly good, with few incidents reported and the medical team having less to do than usual. Overall, the festival was deemed a success and the organisers were very satisfied with the outcome.
