In the drug trial before the Lucerne Criminal Court, the accused admitted to the cocaine trafficking he was accused of. He had carried out orders from Albania and had been exploited by the organizer of the drug trafficking, he said.
The public prosecutor's office accuses the 37-year-old Albanian of receiving, portioning and selling 82 kilograms of cocaine mixture from Reiden LU over a period of six months in 2020/21. He is alleged to have turned over 3.5 million francs.
The accused acted on instructions from a drug boss in Albania. He had gambling debts and had been dazzled by the money the organizer promised him, he said. In Switzerland, he realized that the monthly salary of 3,000 francs was ridiculous in view of the turnover they were making.
However, it was his fault that he had come to Switzerland to deal drugs, said the accused. He would now be separated from his family for a long time.
The public prosecutor is requesting a prison sentence of ten years.
