Airbnb integrates Twint as a payment method for Swiss customers

Airbnb is expanding its payment methods for Swiss customers. As of (today) Wednesday, they can also pay for their overnight stays with Twint, as Airbnb announced the same day.
The integration aims to improve the booking experience, as Twint is the most frequently used payment app in Switzerland. According to the company's own information from the beginning of the year, Twint now has 5 million users.
Airbnb is headquartered in San Francisco, California. In 2023, the Group recorded revenue of USD 9.9 billion and an operating profit (adjusted EBITDA) of USD 3.7 billion.
