The general meeting of the insolvent Signa Development, the second most important real estate division of René Benko's Signa Group, approved the restructuring plan on Wednesday. The fiduciary solution thus remains in place, the company announced in a press release.

Karin Exner-Wöhrer, Claudia Badstöber, Michael Mitterdorfer and Martina Scheibelauer were newly elected to the Board of Directors. Former Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, the head of Bausparkasse Wüstenrot Susanne Riess-Hahn and the former CEO of Raiffeisen Bank International Karl Sevelda thus left the Board.

According to the insolvency administrator, Christoph Stadlhuber also resigned from the board. Only the CFO of the German RAG-Stiftung, Jürgen-Johann Rupp, remains from the previous members. Who will take over the chairmanship of the Board of Directors will be decided at the constituent meeting this afternoon.

There will be no remuneration for the 2023 financial year for the outgoing members of the Board of Directors following the resolution of the Annual General Meeting. However, according to the information provided, the members would have waived this anyway.

Signa Development's projects include the Flüggerhöfe in Hamburg and a shipyard site near Vienna. It does not include the Swiss department store chain Globus, which belongs to Signa Retail Selection AG, which holds half of Globus.
