The body of the last missing person after the avalanche on Easter Monday in Zermatt VS has been found. The 30-year-old Canadian was discovered by an officer of the Valais cantonal police in the avalanche cone on the Riffelberg.

Investigations confirmed the identity of the deceased, as the Valais cantonal police announced on Tuesday.

An avalanche fell on the Riffelberg on April 1, initially claiming the lives of three people: a 15-year-old American, a 25-year-old Canadian and a 58-year-old Swiss man. A 20-year-old Swiss man was rescued from the masses of snow.
