Climber rescued after fall on Gross Furkahorn UR/VS

While descending the Gross Furkahorn between the cantons of Uri and Valais on Saturday evening, a woman fell around 20 meters and suffered moderate injuries. She was flown to hospital in Lugano by Rega Air-Rescue.
The woman was part of a group of eight people who wanted to climb the Gross Furkahorn with its 3168 meters, as reported by Rega on Monday. The accident happened during the rope descent after 7 pm.
