Federal Council with English Channel on X for International Affairs

The Swiss Federal Council is expanding its international presence by launching a new English-language channel on X, formerly known as Twitter. The new account, @SwissGov, will provide information about the Federal Council's activities of international dimension to a foreign audience. It will primarily target media professionals and employees of international and supranational organisations. The Federal Council also plans to increase the amount of English-language content on its websites, focusing on current affairs. This initiative is intended to ensure that the interests of Switzerland are better represented abroad in matters of international importance.
