Financial sector expects positive development in the coming year

Executives in the global banking and financial sector are optimistic about the future. More than half of them expect market conditions to improve in the coming year, according to a study published on Monday by stock exchange operator SIX.
Overall, 53% of respondents expect the economic environment to improve in the coming year. A further 40 percent expect stable development. Financial institutions in Switzerland and Singapore are the most confident.
