Gold medal for Swiss army chefs at the Olympics in Stuttgart

The Swiss Armed Forces Culinary Team (SACT) took first place in the Community Catering category at the Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart. The six army chefs came out on top against 20 other teams and were also named the best military team.
The international jury awarded the Swiss Armed Forces national culinary team a score of over 90 points, which corresponds to a gold medal, according to a statement issued by the Confederation on Thursday. The Swiss Armed Forces Culinary Team is subordinate to the Catering Training Center in Thun.
The Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart (IKA - Culinary Olympics) is the largest culinary arts exhibition in the world. It is held every four years. A menu for 120 people was cooked, consisting of three aperitif dishes, an appetizer, two different main courses with a focus on vegetables and a mini dessert, according to a statement.
