Hotelleriesuisse sees conclusion of negotiations as a milestone

The industry association Hotelleriesuisse welcomes the successful conclusion of the negotiations on the Bilaterals III with the European Union. "The Bilaterals are our path for the future," it said in a press release on Friday.
The agreement represents an important step towards securing economic cooperation and is a milestone. It offers Swiss accommodation and the entire Swiss tourism industry a stable basis for the future. It strengthens access to the EU internal market and is essential for securing Swiss prosperity.
It is now up to the politicians and economic forces in Switzerland to take advantage of this change of course and continue on the path of bilateral success. The bilateral agreements should not only be ratified quickly, but also implemented sustainably, it said.
Secure access to the European labor market is of central importance for the Swiss accommodation industry. A functioning relationship with the EU makes it possible to recruit qualified workers from abroad, who contribute significantly to the success of the industry.
