The first day of the trial at Lucerne Criminal Court began with the questioning of the main defendant. He spoke of "defense". And denied having physically injured the other men.

The accused told the judges that he had happened to be there that day. He had wanted to help his sister move house. When they stopped at the petrol station in Geuensee, unknown, angry men came towards them and attacked them. He only wanted to fend off the men and did not physically injure them.

A total of eight people have to answer to the Lucerne Criminal Court for the physical altercation that took place in Geuensee in 2021. The cause was a failed business relationship. The main defendant is accused of intentional homicide.

He allegedly stabbed several people with a 16-centimeter-long blade. According to the indictment, he stabbed one person in the left chest and pierced the right ventricle. This person died within a few seconds. He also stabbed another person in the back of the head, severing the scalp 15 centimetres long.
