Major operation after fire in industrial zone in Vétroz VS

A major fire with harmful smoke development broke out in the industrial zone of Vétroz VS shortly after midday on Tuesday. The area was evacuated.
The alarm was triggered at 12.45 p.m., according to the Valais cantonal police. An operation is underway. According to the police, the fire broke out at a company in the Botza industrial zone.
The police asked the public to stay away from the area. They will provide further information about the fire in the afternoon, they said.
