Man arrested after shooting in La Chaux-de-Fonds NE

A man fired at least two shots into the air in a street in La Chaux-de-Fonds NE on Sunday night. The police arrested the 47-year-old Portuguese man. No one was injured.
The shooting was preceded by an altercation in a public bar in the city, according to the Neuchâtel cantonal police on Monday. After negotiations, the alleged perpetrator surrendered without resistance. The police arrested him and confiscated two firearms. The man tested positive for alcohol when he was arrested.
