Missing kayaker found dead in Lake Maggiore

The lifeless body of well-known British kayaker Bren Orton was found in Lake Maggiore TI on Thursday afternoon. A sailor found the body in the water and alerted the rescue services, according to the Ticino cantonal police.
According to the police, it is the man who disappeared on 16 May while kayaking on the Melezza. The 29-year-old had been missing for a week following an accident. The Briton had tens of thousands of followers on Instagram and showed his passion for kayaking in numerous video clips and pictures.
