Orell Füssli compra los almacenes de Buchparadies

Orell Füssli has taken over the three bookstores of Buchparadies as part of a succession plan. The branches in Rapperswil, Wädenswil and Ebikon will continue to operate under the existing Buchparadies brand, the company announced on Thursday. Orell Füssli will take over the business in the Sonnenhof shopping centre in Rapperswil in September 2023, followed by the transfer of management in Wädenswil in October 2023 and the bookshop in Ebikon in January 2024. All existing employees will be kept on. The previous owner of Buchparadies, Hans-Peter Schupp, has completely transferred his shares and is leaving the company completely, according to a Orell-Füssli spokesman. The company did not want to comment on the purchase price.
