Organization announces use of suicide capsule in Switzerland

The organization "The Last Resort" has confirmed in Zurich that the "Sarco" suicide capsule is to be used in Switzerland. When and where it will be used, however, was left open on Wednesday.
Disclosing information on assisted suicide is disrespectful, Fiona Stewart, founding member of the organization, told the media. However, she assumes that the capsule will be used this year.
The organization's lawyers had been in contact with various cantons. Stewart did not want to say which ones. However, "The Last Resort" has no legal concerns.
It was recently reported that a person would die this week with the help of the suicide capsule in Valais. However, the cantonal doctor in Valais ordered a ban on its use. The public prosecutor's office in Schaffhausen has also expressed concerns.
